Wooden Skin

When I was at university, my friend and I created this exact design feature in our penthouse's main bedroom. I love it because it defines the space without using walls, it's a very warm and inviting material and it looks awesome. This house in Barcelona, designed by Susanna Cots, has incorporated wooden elements into other parts of the design as well to ensure the wooden 'skin' continues throughout the interior. Another design element to add to my 'future house' list!
